To our dear CCN Members,
Welcome back!!! Who can believe that the summer has come and gone with what felt like the blink of an Eye. With the opening of the CCN comes a jam packed program in store which I am sure you won’t want to miss.
I am very proud to have been given the opportunity to act as your club president for this exciting New year. My goal is to work with our members and executive team to try and customize activities, events and monthly gatherings geared towards your interests. YOU are the club so it is very important to me that we do whatever we can to give you the most out of your membership. We will continue to work at making the Canadian Club a success.
We are very lucky to have on board the newly elected executive team. Without them, we simply could not do what we do. I would like to thank the following people who have decided to join our team for yet another year.
Annie Berasconi- Trip co-ordinator
Marie-Josee Matte Rivard- Club secretary and special events
Sandra Van Rijn-Family events and event co-ordinator
Amanda Van Der Pol- Vice President
Laurence Sandor- 2nd Vice President
Sue Torry- Membership and Editor
As in years past, we have set up a stellar schedule of events for the 2009/2010 year. We listened to your feedback and have made changes to the program to incorporate more of the things you wanted, such as, more family and evening events. Last year, such events were true successes so we have tried to incorporate more of them this year. A full list of upcoming events, are listed in this magazine so please be sure to check it out! We hope that you will have a chance to participate in as many events as possible.
Once again, welcome back! I simply cannot wait to see you at the many exciting and fun activities we have planned. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns please feel free to contact me at anytime; I can be reached via email at
